Abstract
Granulosa cell tumor is a type of sex cord ovarian tumor. A 36 year old female P3L3 presented with complaints of amenorrhea for the past one and half years. On abdominal palpation a mass of about 10 x 12 cm palpable in right iliac and lumbar region. Imaging studies revealed irregular lobulated huge heterogeneously enhancing soft tissue mass lesion in right adnexa separate from uterus with no evidence of lymphadenopathy, Possibility of adnexal mass in right side. Tumor markers showed elevated levels of inhibin and slight elevation of Ca 125 and other markers were normal. Staging laparotomy performed. Peritoneal fluid taken for cytology , proceeded to TAH and BSO and Infracolic omentectomy. Peritoneal biopsy taken. Histopathological report showed features of adult granulosa cell tumor in right ovary.
