Abstract
Background -Ochronosis is connective tissue manifestation of Alkaptonuria. Joint involvement specially hip and knee ,shoulder destruction is seen. The cartilage is pigmented and destroyed. It is interesting for both p a t h o l o g i s t s a n d o r t h o p e d i c s u r g e o n s.
