Abstract
Fungal mastoiditis is a extremely very rare entity in an immunocompetent adult male. This condition is very difficult to diagnose and treat. Management consists of mastoidectomy to eliminate the localised fungal growth and disease clearance followed by antifungal therapy and to detect and control of underlying cause or change of living or working environment. eventhough, previously reported cases of fungal mastoiditis in different fungal species, we report an extremely rare case of penicillium marneffei fungal mastoiditis in a unimmununocompromised individual.
