INTERNATIONAL FOREIGN LANGUAGES EXAMS AS AN IMPORTANT TOOL OF INTERNATIONALIZATION OF MODERN RUSSIAN EDUCATION

Nowadays the Russian higher education faces the challenge of successful inclusion into the international scientific and educational space. Leading Russian higher education institutions have to devote significant effort to be represented in the international ratings. One of the main obstacles in this way is the poor knowledge of foreign language (English) of students and teachers. The international certification foreign languages exam can become the important motivating factor to active foreign languages studies, on the one hand, and the tool of readiness of higher education institution to realization of the international initiatives, on the other hand.
