Abstract
Extramedullary plasmacytoma (EMP) is a rare neoplasm of the plasma cells which results from abnormal proliferation of plasma cells in the absence of bone marrow involvement and any other typical systemic features of Multiple Myeloma. They constitute 4 of plasma cell neoplasms and most commonly involve the upper areodigestive tract. 11-30 percent of patients with EMP can progress to Multiple Myeloma. They are only few cases reports the literature of duodenal plasmacytoma. We report a 57 year old man with malena and a duodenal mass on imaging which was confirmed to be a duodenal plasmacytoma on histopathological examination.
