Linguistic personality markers film character in terms of translation (based on the film «The Imitation Game»)

The article is devoted to identifying features of translation of Alan Turing's linguistic personality markers at lexical and syntactic language levels. The study of main character's linguistic portrait in «The Imitation Game» is carried out with regard to the principles of the typology of linguistic personalities. Close attention is paid to psychological traits of Alan Turing's linguistic personality and communicative competence of the character. A wide range of transformations and translation methods were used in order to render the specifics of the main character's linguistic personality markers.
