Abstract
Dedifferentiated liposacoma (DDLS) is a high grade subtype of liposarcoma that progress from well differentiated liposarcoma. Some are evolved from benign lipomas. Most commonly occurs in the retroperitoneum, extremities and trunk. Incidence is approximately 13,30,000. Tumour can occur from 20 to 95 years but peak age of incidence is 62 years. Wide surgical excision is the most effective treatment. Role of chemotherapy and radiation is controversial.
