MASSIVE FIBROID COMPLICATING PREGNANCY

Massive fibroid associated pregnancy may end up in various complications.A29 Year Gravida 2,Para1,Live1,Booked case with 30 weeks of gestation with previous cesarean section with huge abdominopelvic mass admitted with complaints of abdominal pain. M R I shows huge complex heterogenous mass arising from anterolateral wall of uterus, extending from cervix to the fundus with intra uterine fetus corresponding to gestational age. By 34 weeks she developed intractable pain. Proceeded with Emergency Laporotomy .Myomectomy done and huge subserous sessile fibroid of size about 40x35cm weighing 5kg was enucleated .There were evidence of scar dehiscence. Cesarean section done and delivered an alive male baby of weight 1.9kg.Patient had uneventful post operative period
