Abstract
Mullerian anomalies occur due to defective developmental orchestration. The symptomatology is wide. This case report delineates one such case in which there was a pregnancy and rupture of a rudimentary non-communicating horn of a unicornuate uterus masquerading as a case of cornual ectopic pregnancy. Practically, an early diagnosis is found to prompt timely management while a late presentation poses a diagnostic dilemma both clinically and radiologically. Hysterosalphingography and MRI form the mainstay of the diagnosis. This case report shows that laparotomy with excision of the rudimentary horn saved the patient and led to a viable pregnancy.
