Abstract
The author considers the problem of communication through the prism of age, sex and gender related peculiarities. The author presents the results of a range of studies proving the fact of interruptions in the process of communication, including those determined by the communicants' sex. The author notes the fact of influence of age as well as the feminine and masculine degree on frequency of interruptions. The conclusion about perceptiveness of studies in this area of communication process is drawn.
