FIRE SAFETY SYSTEM OF OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY

This article discusses issues related to the fire safety system. It is revealed the concept of fire safety system. On the basis of a systematic approach and the provisions of laws and regulations on fire safety in the Russian Federation the authors proposed a structure of the fire safety system for oil and gas industry. The proposed system consists of two major blocks — arrangements and technical events. In turn, each of the designated block is divided into sub-blocks, which have a certain set of functions that characterizes the sub-block. In the system of fire safety for oil and gas industry large aspect given to the development of internal regulations of oil and gas pre-acceptance for regulatory arrangements and to establish uniform requirements for fire protection systems and fire prevention systems and enterprise-specific. The proposed system of fire safety with proper management and operation will increase the effectiveness of fire safety in the oil and gas industry and, ultimately, improve the fire safety of the whole enterprise.
