ANALYSIS OF THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE ASPECTS OF THE JURY AS A TOOL OF DEMOCRACY IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN LEGISLATIVE REALITIES

The article deals with the issue of the need for a jury in the judicial system of Ukraine. Comparing with the jurisprudence of foreign countries, the possibility of developing a jury in Ukraine is appreciated. The positive and negative aspects of the jury, as an instrument of democracy in modern Ukrainian legislation, were clearly identified.
