STATE SYSTEM AND LAW OF THE UKRAІNІAN NATІONAL REPUBLІC ІN THE CENTRAL COUNCІL OF UKRAІNE PERІOD

The general and special historiographic sources are analyzed and the basic scientific works are systematized on the issues of creation, formation, development of the state system and the system of law of the Ukrainian National Republic. The article examines the most important aspects of state-building activity of the Central Council of Ukraine period, as well as a number of legislative acts of the Central Rada aimed at the construction of the UNR, in particular the Constitution of the UNR, highlights the main shortcomings and problems in the work of the Central Council of Ukraine. The emphasis is placed on the need to take into account the positive and negative experience of the activities of the Central Council for carrying out modern reforms in Ukraine and the use of the experience in current legal practice.
