Abstract
The article analyzes the issue of annexation of the Crimean peninsula by the Russian Federation in 2014, analysis of violations of international legal norms and principles by the Russian Federation, comparison with known cases of incorporation in the world an explanation for the impossibility of applying known precedents to the annexation of the Crimean peninsula.
