Abstract
The article examines the role of the victim during the conclusion of a pre-trial agreement on cooperation. The author also considers the causes of ignoring victim’s opinion. As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that the opinion of the victim on a pre-trial agreement on cooperation should be taken into account when imposing the punishment. In this connection, the author proposes to introduce specific changes to the Criminal Code of the Rus?sian Federation in this field.
