Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the issue of family environment impact on the development of emotion understanding in preschoolers. Based on the foreign researches results of the problem of parental social- ization of emotion, the author considers the basic elements of parental emotion-related socialization behaviors, including parents' expression of emotion, parental reactions to children's emotions, and parental coaching about emotions, and reveals theirs relations with emotion understanding by preschool children. In conclusion, the au- thor generalizes the parental contribution to development of preschoolers' emotion understanding
