Abstract
Portraiture is considered one of the highest categories of painting. This genre is characterised by getting the likeness of the person in the original portrait. The portraits representing people in distinctive places, especially in the plein-air are the best examples of portrait painting. It should be noted that making plein-air portraits requires the appropriate medium and lighting to better emphasize the person's individual identity and capture his specific features
