MYOEPITHELIOMA OF THE LACRIMAL GLAND - A CASE REPORT

Abstract
Myoepithelioma are rare benign tumors of myoepithelial cell origin, most commonly seen in parotid gland. Myoepithelioma of the lacrimal gland is a rare intraorbital tumor. Herein we report clinical, radiological and histopathological evaluation of 45 year old female with history of left eye proptosis and mild diplopia for 6 months. A mass in lacrimal gland was detected by imaging and patient underwent excision of mass and was clinically free of disease after surgery.
