Abstract
The purpose of the article was to examine psychological characteristics of the relationship between the accuracy of perception and feelings of inferiority in adolescence. The relevance of the work associated with the need to develop initiatives, professional and intellectual potential of young people in the framework of the state youth policy. However the feeling of inferiority is associated with feelings of inferiority and prevents the active actualization of the person. The substantiation of necessity of research and development of accuracy of perception as the system property of mentality causing efficiency of mental reflection and the subsequent self-regulation in the course of adaptation to socially cultural environment is given; overcoming of feeling of inferiority as the mechanism starting a complex of cognitive and emotional experiences limiting existential and professional solvency of the young man. This study was carried out at Smolensk state University. The features of the study of the accuracy of perception using tensometric measurements, which provided a high objectivity of the study due to the fact that the interference of verbal responses of the subjects was excluded. The analysis of perceptual errors of the leading and not leading hands of the subjects in the States of active wakefulness and psycho-emotional stress is carried out. A high correlation between the accuracy of the stimulus reproduction by the left (non-leading) hand of the subject in the state of active wakefulness and the feeling of inferiority is revealed. The features of errors of perception and reproduction of a given sample of the right and left hands of the subject in different mental States, as well as their relationship with a sense of inferiority. The results can be used as a rapid diagnosis of feelings of inferiority, especially the mental state.
