Abstract
This study aims to understand the characteristics of wave deformation, especially wave transmission and reflection due to the influence of a series of asymmetrical sink structures based on transition waters. This research was conducted at the beach engineering research laboratory of the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering on the Gowa Campus. Physical modeling at 30 cm width and 15 m length of transparent water tank with a geometric scale of 1: 20 is used to simulate the influence of the structure density (ζ), the length of the structural series (B), height and wavelength (Hi and L) and the relative depth of water above the structure (d ') of the coefficient of transmission and reflection of waves (Kt and Kr) in 3 asymmetrical structures, namely rectangles, triangles and semicircles
