The Investigating of the Accountability of Urban Spaces to the Disabled Persons Needs (Case Study: Ferdowsi Street in Sanandaj)

Nowadays in urban spaces, there are disabled Persons that their presence in the community has been ignored.Including their lost rights, to mobility and secure access to services, spaces and public facilities of cities with individual independence can be noted.Given that power of adapting disabled persons with many of the urban hardships is lower than that of other citizens, and these persons in many cases are unable, inevitably, they prefer the home space to the urban environment.That this problem, need to planning for the standardization of urban spaces and adapt of them with the needs of disabled persons increases. Making appropriate of spaces for disabled persons shows the justice and social safety in access that in addition to safety and health will have extraordinary psychological effects and will prevent of depression and isolation of the disabled persons and will prevent of depression and isolation of the disabled persons.The objective of this paper is the survey of the situation of urban public spaces and their role in isolation of disabled persons (case study: Ferdowsi street in Sanandaj). The type of research is applied and the methodology is analytic-descriptive. To collect the data, the library and survey method have been used. Data analysis was performed by SPSS software, as well as testing methods such as T test and linear regression.
