Abstract
The article discusses the specifics of applying the innovative approach in teaching foreign languages and Russian as a foreign language. The advantages of using innovative technologies are revealed, the essence of such methods of educational innovations as modular, problematic and electronic-interactive learning is analyzed. The basic techniques of innovative educational technologies used in the classes for teaching Russian as a foreign language are given.
