Formation of civil competence of the pedagogue of the new ukrainian school

Abstract
The article defined and discloses the main accents on the formation of the civil competence of the teacher of the New Ukrainian School. These accents are proposed for the formation of a person-citizen, for whom a democratic civil society is the center for disclosing its creative potential, satisfying personal and social interests. The necessity of forming a citizen of Ukraine as an educated, creative person, in which organically combines high moral features, civil maturity, patriotism, professional competence, the need for self-improvement, is emphasized. It is established that the main strategic directions of civil education are: legal education of citizens, understanding and ability to exercise their own constitutional rights and responsibilities; strengthening the ability to participate in public life and use opportunities to influence decisionmaking processes at the national and local levels. The author focuses on: theoretical level of civil competence research; useful sources for studying the issue of forming a civil competence; terminological ordering of concepts and terms based on the legislative and normative basis of Ukraine; a complex of tasks for forming the civil competence of the teacher of the New Ukrainian school. According to the Framework Program for updated key competencies for lifelong learning, the basic knowledge, skills, attitudes related to civil competence are described. The list of basic requirements for the formation of the civil competence of the teacher of the New Ukrainian School is defined according to the Concept of Civil Education Development in Ukraine. The complex of tasks for forming the civil competence of the teacher of the New Ukrainian school is formulated. The components of formation of the civil competence of the teacher of the New Ukrainian school are revealed on the basis of these tasks.
