Abstract
The article explores theoretical and practical principles of monitoring the quality of educational services in educational institutions. It analizes the criteria and indicators that should be applied to monitor the quality of education and effective management of the educational process in the current context. The problems, tasks and essential features of effective management of the educational process are considered. The article outlines the practical experience of the leadership and organization of the educational process in the Christian boarding school for girls. The principles of organization and peculiarities of construction of educational process in a new type of educational institution, which is a boarding school for girls, are described. The experience of its creation and operation is generelized. At the boarding school a lot of work has been done for ensuring the students' innovative and intellectual development. For this purpose a set of educational and psychological-pedagogical factors were intended. These include, in particular, the use of innovative problembased teaching methods, the involvement of female students in nonstandard types of lessons, schooling of educational-developmental courses, that orient students to the active and creative transformation of their knowledge. The teachers of the college organize the educational activities of the students in both traditional and non-standard forms, which are characterized by the original submission of material. Among them we can name such as, integrated lessons, practicum lessons that require practical application of the gained knowledge, virtual tours (these are virtual tours via the Internet), business games lessons, conference lessons, debate lessons, scientific research lessons, organized lesson and extracurricular scientifical exploring activities, lessons of project protection. There are, also, seminars that have been introduced to form independent research skills. The article substantiates the need for new approaches to managing for the educational process and controlling its quality in the context of Christian values and goals of the pedagogical institution.
