Abstract
The problem of essence of the phenomenon of superconductivity is discussed. The basis of the offered model of superconductivity is the hypothesis of a molecular structure of substance according to which molecules act as structure-forming elements. Superconductivity arises from a spatial overlapping the molecular orbits forming covalent bonding of these molecules. Molecular orbits act as electron donors, which are socialized and get freedom of movement in a molecular network of substance (along covalent bonding).
