ON IMPORTANCE OF ETHNIC ECOLOGY IN STUDING ANCIENT HISTORY IN TERMS OF RUS

The article shows the necessity of consideration of the historical development of the ethnos with positions ethnic ecology, when ecological forms of social behavior provide collective human existence and development through the resources of particular habitats. In relation to the ancient history of the Russian ethnos, this approach avoids the robust misconceptions about the role of “strangers” in the minds of the Russian state.
