Abstract
In this research translation and assesment of Ibn Taymiyyah's letter which has been written to Cyprus king has been handled. This research origines from Ibn Taymiyah's Er-Risalet'ul Kubru-siyye book that there is no doubt that is his book. In our rese-arch, primarily we focused on these issues: a short part of Ibn Taymiyah's life, similarities between letter which has been sent to Cyprus king by Ibn Taymiyah and his book “el-Cevâbü's-Sahih li-men beddele dine'l-Mesih”, context of letter and translation of his letter. In this article, there are some considerations about reason of why this letter has been written and also context of letter have been carried out.
