Abstract
The article is devoted to investigating the proper names, which are found in the Ėven folklore. By semantic signs, the anthroponyms are conventionally divided into groups. It has been determined that the personal names, which are used in the Ėven folklore are various by their semantic content, they are single words in most cases. It has been found that there are some differences in interpreting the names.
