Re-interpretation Works in the Recent Quran Translation: Analyse and Criticism

There are hundreds of Qur'an translation (Meal) in turkey and this number still has been increasing day by day. Qur'an trainslation “Meal” is very important and necessary as the most important tool for the non-Arabic speakers to understand the meaning. Many of these Qur'an translations have considerably facilitated understanding Qur'an. However a number of recent trainslations seem to reflects ideas of the interpreter rather than transferring original meaning of Qur'an. therefore, this phenomenon may influence perception of the readers due to misunderstanding some Qur'anic messages. It is important to investigate this, because contamination of personal ideas in translation of Qur'an may put in danger understanding of Qur'an truly. the author of the article, because he cares about this danger, some of the examples of the situation had been highligted for attention of the related people. In this paper, several Qur'an translations will be examined and new interpretations will be evaluated.
