THE CATEGORICAL AND CONCEPTUAL APPARATUS OF THE MEDIA EDUCATION CONTENT

The basic concepts of media education which intensively develops in modern conditions are examined in this article; the objectives of media education are detailed; the relationship and differences between media literacy, media competence and media education are analyzed; the key factors necessary for media education development are given, as mass media have considerable impact on the personality development, psychology of the person and perception of world around.
