THE PRIORITY OF CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE SOCIO-CULTURAL CHARACTER OF THE MODERN ERA

The author analyses the socio-cultural components of the XXI century. The authors summarize the scientists' views on the periodization of Russian culture development and socio-cultural activities (SCA). The author's arguments regarding the denomination of the XXI century as the period of new cultural and educa- tional technologies from the point of view of the SCA are presented. The author briefly observes the sources of forming of the cultural and educational technologies as a type and direction of activity. The author also clarifies and formulates new concepts and definitions on the topic under consideration for the professional terminology system
