Abstract
Łyczakowski Cemetery in Lviv is an exceptional place for the Poles. Thousands of independence activists, insurgents, writers, poets and artists are buried there. The cemetery is also a picturesque garden, which for years has been causing feel of patriotism and pride. Near the Łyczakowski Cemetary, in the interwar period, Cemetery of the Defenders of Lwów, also called Cemetary of Eaglets, came into being.
