Abstract
Based on the results of examination and treatment of 80 men with acute infectious pulmonary destructions requiring surgery it was found that the use of the testosterone esters drug mixture lead to an increase in its concentration in serum (pWilcoxon=0.000001) and eliminated cases of its defciency (p(Fisher)=0.0). It was also established that the use of the above mixture helped reduce the need in parenteral nutrition (χ2=6.36; p=0.012) and transfusions of albumin solution (χ2=5.98; p=0.015), maintain body weight (p(Wilcoxon)=0.38), decrease the total number of postoperative complications by 2 times (U=81; p(Mann-Whitney)=0,011) and cases of postoperative morbidity from 79% to 53% (χ2=5,85; p=0,016), as well as reduce the material costs for the treatment of patients.
