Abstract
This article discusses the effect of short-term physical exercises conducted in the middle of the school day on the functional state of the body of students in grades 5-8. In the study of this issue, methods were used such as monitoring student behavior and questionnaires; dosing tasks on time; the study of the functions of external respiration and heart rate during physical exercises of the complex; examination of physical development, health status, and student performance throughout the year. In the course of the study, positive results were observed on the functional state of the schoolchildren’s body by physical exercise complexes conducted with musical accompaniment. At the same time, the duration of the development of trace processes decreases, the speed of muscle effort and the strength of muscle contraction increase. The musical accompaniment of the complexes contributes to a more rhythmic and deep breathing.
