Abstract

This article addresses the issue of the functions of the word and display in teaching motor actions in physical education lessons. In the study of this issue, such methods were used, a generalization of advanced pedagogical experience, observation of the use of the word, and showing physical exercises in lessons. In order to improve the use of the word and display in training, the teacher should master and achieve the application of each verbal treatment and display, taking into account the conditions for passing the training material. The article indicates that in the training of young people involved, the word and display are used to transfer knowledge about all motor action and, to a lesser extent, about its elements and details.
