Abstract
Industrial safety is vital for tasks and safety of personnel. In this investigation the minor accidents which happened in certified steel plants was evaluated. Three input parameters such as Department, operator and machine maintenance were selected as parameters. Three departments such as casting, fettling and material handling were considered. Three types of employees such as skilled, semi skilled, untrained were considered. There are three types of maintenance such as periodic, improper and breakdown maintenance was considered. Taguchi and ANOVA methods were employed to analyze the minor accidents occurred in certified steel industries.
