This article discusses the impact of music on the formation of motor skills in rhythmic gymnastics. As a result of the studies, we came to the conclusion that when speaking about the musical accompaniment of classes, we must first of all talk about the method of using music. When the correct method is applied, then music contributes to overall performance in gymnastics and the acquisition of motor skills. We came to the conclusion that it is advisable to develop new motor skills time with music. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain the most accurate idea of ​​the sequence of exercises in time and character.
