TURKEY'S GEOSTRATEGY IN THE GREATER MIDDLE EAST: TRANSFORMATIONS AND NEW CHALLENGES

The article highlights the current issues of the new geostrategy of Turkey in the Greater Middle East. Given the current geopolitical situation, comparisons are made with the strategic documents of Turkey, the main theses of foreign policy modernization are derived. The issues of neo-Ottomanism, neo-Islamism in the context of the conflicts of Syria and Libya, its realities and prospects are emphasized. In addition, it shows the current stage in Turkey's relations with the US and Russia, as well as its role in international organizations. In these mat- ters, we are trying to understand the new role of the Turkish army in ensuring national security. Deriving com- mon patterns and perspectives will allow us to evaluate the efforts of the ruling party in Turkey's new geopoliti- cal vision
