Abstract
The article discusses the issues of ensuring the rights of women in society, ways to improve their legal culture. Some interpretations of the concept of legal culture from different approaches are given. The definition of legal culture and its role in civil society and the rule of law in a democratic state is given. The author analyzes the reflection of the protection of women's rights in the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of legislative acts adopted in recent years, the activities of the Women's Committee, mahallas and other bodies to protect women's rights and improve their legal culture
