Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the work of D'Annunzio. The poem "O falce di luna calante" is analyzed, and two versions of the translation of this work by G. D'annunzio are compared. One of the transla- tions of the poem was made by the famous translator E. Solonovich, the other-by the author together with G. Belussi. The aim of the study is to identify the features of the creative handwriting of the Italian poet, to study the work of the Italian poet in the aspect of the theory of translation of the poetic text. The task is to offer meth- odological techniques that allow the translator to be as close as possible both grammatically and stylistically to the original text.
