Abstract

The article, using interdisciplinary and integrated approach presents an analysis of the ethno-cultural idioglossia the “woman” that is central in the ethnic picture of the world of Chingiz Aitmatov. According to statistical analysis, ethnoidioglossia “woman” is the most frequent and has the “cross-cutting character”. “Woman” is presented in the form of semantic gestalts, which are named for their content. In the cognitive interpretation were used ethnographic, historical, and cultural comments, and also excerpts from works of the writer and comments of the author. Thus, for a common Russian lexical unit “woman” is corresponded the ethnic picture of the world of the writer and specific reality of the Kyrgyz ethnic group. Thus, the results of the study allow the authors argue that Chingiz Aitmatov is bilingual linguistic personality, which conveys the cultural identity of his ethnic group not only through turkisms, but also through common key units named us ethnoidioglossia.
