Abstract
Geopolitical instability in the Arab region and the Sahel region and its implications for Algerian national security The Arab region and the Sahel have recently experienced many disturbances, crises and even wars and "revolutions" by a blatant intervention of the former colonial and neocolonial powers, in order to fully control the capacities of these regions because of its geopolitical potential, which has a very significant impact on the security of these states and in this case Algeria. This geopolitical upheaval has had a negative effect on the security and even sovereignty of the states of this region and brought them back to a pre-colonial era that is believed to be over when the colonial powers competed to capture these countries as part of their strategic project.
