Abstract
This paper presents the case of the transition to distance learning in Turan-Astana University during the pandemic of COVID-19. The researchers surveyed university students to reveal the level of satisfaction with the education quality and to assess the system's readiness for distance learning. Research shows that students are open towards mixing distance and traditional learning, however the digitalization of education needs to be re- formed.
