Abstract
When controlling an induction motor (IM) using the field-oriented control (FOC) principle, the rotor flux value must be precisely determined. From there, we obtained a consequence that the rotor flux control and torque control of the IM motor are independent, which determines the quality of the drive system using the IM motor. In this article, the authors mention the Kalman filter design method to determine the IM motor's flux value. The theoretical results have been verified on an experimental hardware system using DSP C2000
