Abstract
The article analyzes the essence of the concept of "trade secret" as an additional condition of an employment contract, its main features are highlighted. Separate mechanisms for protecting trade secrets at the enterprise with the aim of protecting the economic security of the employer are investigated. The proposals to the draft Labor Code of Ukraine are formulated.
