Abstract
The main aim and purpose of this paper is to explore the role of employee innovative behaviour and teamwork on employee empowerment. This study tries to find does innovative behaviour empowers employees. Lot of scholarly work is into empowerment, but less scholarly attention is received on teamwork analysis and Innovative Behaviour and its effect on employee empowerment. The study is descriptive in nature. Structured questionnaire was formulated by the researchers and used for the study. The researchers have used self-administered questionnaires in order to obtain the data from entry level professionals in Information and Communication Technology organizations (n= 259, number of employees). Simple regression for explaining the relation among the factors and Average variance analysis to display the composite reliability was employed in the study. The findings reveal employee innovative behaviour contributes more towards employee empowerment when compared to team work. The organizations need to have suitable innovative and teamwork as best practices for practical implementation.
