MONUMENTAL – DECORATIVE PAINTING BY TOGHRUL NARIMANBAYOV

This scientific article concerns the creativity of the honored artist of Azerbaijan Toghrul Narimanbay- ov. The author presents a thorough study of the artist's biography and reveals the important factors contributing to his imaginative nature. These factors explain the formation of Toghrul Narimanbayov's artistic personality, which he inherited as a hereditary factor and also acquired in communication with people of the art world and by living in his era. The article introduces the artist's works with the language of his artistic forms. The main theme of this article is devoted to the artist's monumental paintings. A characteristic peculiar to the artist's works is his reference to the national traditions and local color of Azerbaijan. Toghrul Narimanbayov believed that returning to the origins of national culture was necessary for art
