Abstract
In the article activity of Russian Red Cross is considered in the field of help to the peaceful population injured from the battle actions of First World War. Main attention an author spares to the next measures of Society: organizations of food help for refugees; to the fight against infectious diseases among a peaceful population; providing of refugees linen and outerwear. The estimation of job of Russian Red Cross performances is carried out in this area.
