Abstract
The article investigates symbols of passion that represented a set of musical symbols combined content-type ideology. The author developing a universal concept and criterion values for description of this phenomenon and offers a model of symbols passion in the works of J. S. Bach. In clavier works of the great composer Johann Sebastian baroque symbolism passion reveals soteriological theory, which consisted of salvation through suffering, according to which the composer builds dramatic works ?from darkness to light?. Attention is focused on the importance of interpretation problems performing scientific knowledge.
