ЕU experience in building innovative strategies for sustainable development

The paper considers the experience of the European Union in the practice of forming and implementing innovative strategies for sustainable development. The paper analyzed the main strategic priorities: open and competitive economy, lower CO2 emissions, sustainable management of natural resources, safety of food and consumer products, nuclear safety, development of technical safety standards in construction and prevention of emergencies and disasters, crisis management.
